Welcome to Hinchley's Farm.  This section will be informing you of what is happening this season.  With recent photos and captions with the happenings of the farm, you will be able to see the harvest of crops this season.

July 2009 Hinchley's harvested 150 acres of wheat. The wheat is a soft red winter wheat that will be used to make bread and pasta. The straw that is left after the combine has removed the wheat seeds, will be baled into 40 pound bales.  Over 6000 bales of wheat straw were unloaded and stacked in the top of the dairy barn. Daily 10-12 bales of straw are chopped for the cows to have a comfortable and clean bed. Also 300 big bales (3 x 3 x 8 feet) were also baled to be sold.
