A Day with Beatrix Potter was a wonderful event with many visitors from near and far.  Saturday's beautiful weather brought several artist to the farm.  They painted geese, flowers, goats, and calves.  Many children enjoyed painting under the art tent.
Sunday's cool temperatures moved the storytime into the greenhouse, where the smell of flowers and the stored heat from the sun made an ideal location for storytime.

To add to the storytime and visiting the animals, several families witnessed the birth of three calves over the two days.  It was a WONDERFUL day with Beatrix, Peter, and all of the farm animals.

2009 Look for another Day with Beatrix, and also Mother Goose at the Farm.
