Hinchley's Dairy Farm Tour:

The cost of the Dairy Farm Tour is an educational, guided tour, that includes visiting the dairy barn with an opportunity to hand milk a cow! Next visit the calves in the nursery to pet newborn calves and then stop into the milk house to see the equipment used to milk all 90 cows.  Learn how it works and see the 2500 gallon tank that holds the milk.  Your guile will explain how the milk gets from the farm to the store.  On occation guests get to meet the milk man, and watch his tanker truck pick up over 2,000 gallons of milk.  The tour continues to the barnyard to visit, pet and feed; chickens, ducks, geese, goats, sheep, cats and rabbits.  During the spring tours, baby animals are abundant for holding and bottle feeding.  If the weather permits the tour includes a free hayride pulled by an antique tractor to the farm fields to veiw and learn about crops, feed production, and the way the farmer is working with the land and resources to produce food, fuel, and fiber for the world.  While visiting the farm, guests are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and eat in our farm shed on fun cow spot picnic tables.  Snacks and drinks are available, and catered meals can be arranged.
